Vegas, Baby!

Did you notice how much traveling Tonia Jahshan, Steeped Tea founder, did this spring? She was everywhere - sharing the joys of Steeped Tea with all kinds of people in Victoria, Calgary, Sherwood Park, Montreal and Ottawa. Recently, her tea travels took her to Las Vegas.

This time, it was to relax with her husband Hatem, and to reward Joan Hepburn and her husband. Joan earned the Steeped Tea incentive trip to Las Vegas offered for her accomplishments in 2010! They enjoyed terrific food at Caesar's Palace and

got their picture taken with world heavy weight, "The Greatest"  Mohammed Ali!

Two exciting announcements from Steeped Tea's head office have recently been made, and if you've ever considered starting your own Steeped Tea business there has NEVER been a better time! Not only do Steeped Tea consultants earn an income, based on their sales, receiving a cheque in the mailbox every two weeks (if they are consistently active), but now consultants earn even more:

1. Steeped Tea has just announced the incentive trip for the next year. The trip for 2 includes:

* 8 days/7 nights at a luxurious 5 start resort

Cherry Blossom Time

  Gorgeous, aren't they?

Hanami (花見 , lit. "flower viewing") is the Japanese traditional custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, "flower" in this case almost always meaning cherry blossoms (桜 or 櫻 ,sakura), or ume blossoms (梅 ,ume). From mid January to early May, sakura bloom all over Japan. The blossom forecast (桜前線 ,sakurazensen^?, lit. cherry blossom front) is

announced each year by the weather bureau, and is watched carefully by those planning hanami as the blossoms only last a week or two. In modern-day Japan, hanami mostly consists of having an outdoor party beneath the sakura during daytime or at night.

It won't be too long before we're seeing cherry trees blossom here in Ontario, but in the meantime. And why not brew a pot of Cherry Rose Sencha and enjoy these photos!
